Who we are
Crime Stoppers of Dauphin County is a non-profit organization dedicated since its inception in 1987, to effect crime deterrence through administering a rewards program for any information leading to the apprehension of a suspect wanted by authorities.
A "most wanted" list is compiled regularly and released for public review through email, the world-wide-web, social media (Twitter and Facebook), and traditional media releases. Often, the individuals appearing on the "most wanted" list have proven difficult to locate and apprehend using customary police procedure and tactics. As a result, Crime Stoppers of Dauphin County appeals to the community at large through a rewards program for information that may lead to the apprehension of a listed suspect or information that leads to solving a crime.
