Police Officer - Penbrook Borough, Dauphin County, PA (Updated Salaries)
The Penbrook Borough Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time police officer from any Act 120 certified persons. The department is a premier accredited agency with 9 full-time and 1 part-time officers.
Borough Council recently approved a lateral transfer incentive for up to 10 years of full-time experience. Under the current contract, officers with 6 to 10 years will earn a base salary of $80,488.00 in 2026. Paid time off will be commensurate with prior years of service as well.

Applications for the position may be obtained from either the borough office or downloaded from https://www.penbrook.org/policeapplication. The applications can be dropped off in person during the office hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday or emailed to the chief at jhogarth@penbrook.org. The application deadline is Friday October 17 at 4:30 pm. Details of testing will be sent to all applicants once they are finalized. The borough office is located at 150 South 28th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103.
