Welcome to the Lower Swatara Township Police Department

We are proud to serve the community of Lower Swatara Township and share the responsibility with the residents to provide a safe and crime free environment. We are located at 1499 Spring Garden Drive Middletown, PA. 17057. The administrative offices of the department are normally open Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., and can be contacted at 717-939-0463. Police response should be requested by dialing 9-1-1 for Emergencies and 717-558-6900 for Non-Emergencies. The Township of Lower Swatara Police Department is without a doubt one of the most professional and effective police agencies in Dauphin County.

Our Department serves a community of approximately 8,500 residents patrolling the 15 square miles of township roadways, 300 businesses, 3 Industrial Parks, Harrisburg International Airport, Pennsylvania State University and three public schools. The Police Department has a Uniform Patrol Division and Criminal Investigation Unit. We are a full service police department since 1970 who responds to service and emergency calls and conducts investigations 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
