Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run

On Friday September 26th 2025 the Lower Swatara Township Police participated in the Capital Area Torch Run for Special Olympics Pennsylvania. Officers with the Lower Swatara Township Police will run various legs of the torch run alongside of athletes participating in the Special Olympics. The Torch Run, which winds throughout Harrisburg and central PA, raises awareness and funds for the upcoming Special Olympics. 

The Lower Swatara Township Police are attempting to raise $1,000 for the Special Olympics and asking for anyone willing to support this effort to donate via the link below. All proceeds go to the Capitol Area Region Special Olympics. Thank you to everyone for their support!!
