On 06/25/15 at approximately 1754 hours, Steelton Police responded to a report of a SHOTS FIRED call in the area of S 2nd St / Swatara St. As police arrived, the vehicle had already fled the area. Police broadened the search and discovered the suspect vehicle in Highspire. Police attempted to stop the vehicle however prior to the vehicle stopping a passenger jumped out and fled. Both persons were apprehended shortly thereafter. The passenger was a JUVENILE. The DRIVER was TI Vasquez. Police did recover a loaded 9mm handgun. Vasquez was charged with Carrying a Firearm w/o a License, Reckless Endangering, Flight to Avoid Apprehension and Traffic offenses.
