On 9-28-2020, Steelton Borough Police initiated a traffic stop in the 600 block of North 2nd Street. After investigation, a search of the vehicle yielded marijuana, suspected crack cocaine, unknown pills, multiple scales, and a firearm. Shana Smith was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Firearms Act-Convict/Oth Pers Not to Possess Firearm, Firearms Act - Carry Firearm w/o License, Possession of Substance/Counterfeit Substance by Unauthorized Person, Possession of Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia, No Turn Signal & Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended/Revoked.
