On Friday 04-17-2020 the Steelton Police Tactical Narcotics Team executed a search warrant in the 700 block of South 2nd Street. This was the result of a joint investigation between the Steelton Police and the PA Attorney Generals Office Strategic Response Team that began in early February due to citizen complaints of drug activity.  Officers did recover two handguns with high capacity magazines, multiple bundles of heroin and a large amount of U.S. currency. Jorge Rivera-Pacheco was arrested for two counts of a former felon not to possess firearms, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
