On 10-28-19 at approximately 8:00pm, Steelton Borough Police conducted a traffic stop on the 300 block of South Front Street. Upon investigation, the owner of the vehicle, Jennifer Ness, was found to be wanted by the Pennsylvania State Police as an absconder. Upon apprehension, Ness admitted to possessing heroin and that her and the driver of the vehicle, Vincent Keihl, were en route to the Borough to sell synthetic opioid pills. Upon contact with Keihl, officers found he was wanted out of the City of Harrisburg for dangerous drugs, and in possession of drug paraphernalia. A search of the vehicle yielded empty packaging materials, a digital scale, suspected opioid pills, and an unknown pill. Both Ness and Keihl were arrested for Possession with Intent (PWI), Conspiracy to Commit PWI, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, as well as additional charges individually.
