2nd Annual Steelton Highspire Junior Police Academy:  The Steelton Highspire Junior Police Academy is for Steelton and Highspire youths between the ages of 10-16 years old with an interest in either the Law Enforcement field or the community in general.  The program will be free of charge for residents of either borough.  The program is a 7 week course with a graduation at the conclusion of the course.  The academy will be held on Thursday nights from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM beginning June 18, 2015 and ending on August 6, 2015.  There will be no academy classes held on the week of July 4th.  Pre-registration is required and must be completed by June 11, 2015.  A waiver of liability form must be completed and signed prior to any participation in the academy.  All forms can be picked up at the Steelton Police Station located at 123 North Front Street, Steelton PA 17113.
