Patrol Officer Tyrai Anderson, of the Steelton Borough Police Department, was a guest speaker today at the Camp Curtin YMCA’s Prevention Programs (Man Up, Sisters Helping Sisters, RELATE).

Officer Anderson provided guidance and mentorship to the youth of the program and addressed the unstable environment that has been brewing over the past months, as both a product of the community and now a protector of it. As the summer approaches in a record-setting violent year, this conversation was more important than ever.
