Mayor Maria Marcinko has declared a snow emergency in the Borough of Steelton beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16th, at 12PM (noon) and lasting until 12PM (noon) on Thursday, December 17th. Parking on streets designated as Snow Emergency routes is prohibited and vehicles not in compliance are subject to being towed. The designated streets include: Front Street from Gibson Boulevard to the PA Turnpike bridge, Second Street from Gibson Boulevard to Chambers Street, Pine Street from Front Street to the Swatara Township border, and Mohn Street from Front Street to the Swatara Township border. Please be aware of all posted signs along these routes.
