On 10-11-2021, Steelton Borough Police conducted a speed enforcement detail in the 600 block of Pine Street from 3p until 4:30p. Numerous traffic stops were made for excessive speeding, with the top speed being 57 miles per hour in this posted 25 miles per hour zone. The detail was conducted due to numerous resident complaints regarding excessive speeding along Pine Street. More traffic details will be conducted specifically during times of increased pedestrian traffic.
