On Monday, May 16, 2022, members of the Steelton Borough Police Department received Medals of Valor from the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office. Patrol Officers Arthur Etnoyer and Cory Allwein were awarded for extraordinary bravery in the line of duty. On August 6, 2021, Officers Etnoyer and Allwein entered a building fully engulfed in fire, selflessly exposing themselves to significant risk of death, to attempt to save the people inside. We thank Officers Etnoyer and Allwein for their heroic efforts.
