Tyler Kameron Clingan, 21-year-old, was arrested on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, for Aggravated assault by physical menace, Terroristic threats, harassment, Tampering with evidence, Person not to possess a firearm, and Firearm not to be carried without a license.
On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, Highspire Borough Police, received a report of a crash in the 100 Block of Second Street. Upon arriving, Police heard one of the parties involved in the crash yell, "HE'S GOT A GUN! HE PULLED A GUN ON ME!" Police observed the victim pointing at a male, who was wearing a pink knitted cap on his head, black clothing, and carrying a tan backpack, crossing the street in front of the patrol car, making a B-line towards a nearby residential front porch, where he was then observed jump over the porch banister and flee towards the rear of the residence.
Police were able to intercept and detain the male, who identified himself as Tyler Clingan, at the rear of the residence. Clingan was then escorted back to the scene of the incident and was positively identified by two (2) victims, as the individual who pulled a gun on them.
Police processed the scene and located a subcompact handgun stashed between the base of a porch pillar and a down spout. The homeowners confirmed that they do not own the gun recovered on the porch.
Clingan is currently being held in the Dauphin County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing at MDJ 12-2-02.
