On 6/29/2022 @ approximately 1230 pm, Highspire police received a 911 call from a concerned citizen who observed a small child about 4 years old dashed across Second Street in the 200 block. This is always a very busy street full of traffic and it is a miracle that no one got hurt. The citizen kept the child calm and waited for police to arrive. The child was able to direct police to his home residence in this same block.  As a result of this incident, police did arrest Terah Gray with 1 ct of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. ( Felony ) Gray will have a hearing on the incident at MDJ Kenneth Lenker 12-2-02 .
