On May 23, 2022 at approximately 8 pm, Highspire police received a call from a citizen reporting a woman was walking around in the woods just off Second St in the Borough, and appeared to need help.  Police arrived to investigate and found that the woman was just extremely intoxicated. She was ID as Lyssa Jones of Harrisburg. Jones was cited for Public Intoxication and police summoned medical assistance from EMS services.
