On September 24, 2022, Highspire Police were called to the scene of an accident in the 100 block of Second St where a silver Jeep left the roadway and crashed into an occupied house. The driver of that vehicle was ID as Brian Seace.  Seace showed obvious signs of impairment and was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation. As a result of this investigation police were able to determine Seace had a BAC of .133 of Alcohol. On 10/19/22 Highspire Police did file a criminal summons against Seace for DUI General Impairment, DUI BAC > .01, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving. A hearing will be set before MDJ Kenneth Lenker 12-2-02.
