Christmas season should be the essence of hope and a time for making new family memories.  It can be a very stressful time for families, but more so for the less fortunate ones. So this year, The Highspire Police, in collaboration with Steelton-Highspire High School and Elementary School, initiated a Christmas program that targeted families that could benefit from a little extra help.  Police collected donations that helped purchase gifts for these families.  All in all, 10 children were recipients this year.

A light is meant to shine for all to see.  Highspire Police wish to be that light this season and throughout the year.   We wish all a Merry Christmas and we hope to continue this program as a yearly event.  Attached are a few photos documenting our journey.
