Due to a recent post on a Highspire social media web site, we want to remind the citizens of HIghspire that all persons involved with Citizens Fire Company #1 of Highspire are required to submit to a full criminal background investigation check prior to membership. Any and all allegations of criminal misconduct are investigated by the Highspire Police Department. 

With that being said, the same is not true of persons just posting unsubstantiated rumors and gossip on a web page with no proper vetting.
