On 10/22/2021 at approximately 9:03 am the Susquehanna Township Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Sandra Avenue in response to a 911 call in which a female advised that she was being assaulted. Upon arrival Officers found a female who had injuries from being assaulted. The suspect initially made contact with the responding Officers however he retreated into the residence and refused to come back out. The suspect was identified as Tyrone Morris. Morris was also found to have an active arrest warrant for arson from Maryland. After numerous attempts to get Mr. Morris to surrender and to exit the residence he refused and remained in the residence. The Dauphin County Crisis Response Team was activated and was able to make entry into the residence and Mr. Morris was taken into custody after he was found hiding in a bedroom. Mr. Morris has been charged with Aggravated Assault, False ID to Law enforcement and as a fugitive from Justice for his active Maryland warrant.
