The Susquehanna Township Police are investigating a retail theft from the 3800 Block of Walnut Street, this occured April 22, 2016.  Anyone with any information on the identity of the  two suspects in the attached photos please contact Detective Aaron Osman, aosman@susquehannatwp.com, 717-909-9232, or anonymously at 717-909-8477.

The Susquehanna Township Police are investigating a theft from Chuck E Cheese on April 7, 2016 at approximately 8:15 PM.  The Susquehanna Township Police are seeking the identity of the two people in the  attached photos.  Anyone with any information can contact Detective Aaron Osman at aosman@susquehannatwp.com, 717-909-9232, or 717-909-TIPS (8477).

Case Status:

On March 21, 2016 the individual in the photos entered Morris Laundromat, 3722 North 6th Street,  and used a crowbar to attempt to enter several vending machines, as well as a ATM machine.  The suspect appears to be wearing material covering his face.  Anyone with any information on the identity of the suspect can contact Detective Aaron Osman, aosman@susquehannatwp.com, 717-909-9232, or anonymously 717-909-TIPS (8477).

Case Status:

During the evening hours 3-22-16 or early morning hours of 3-23-16, unknown persons forcibly entered a secured area at the Progress Avenue service station at Union Deposit Road and S. Progress Avenue and stole a large tow truck. The truck is a 2002 Freightliner, red in color with a flat bed (see attached picture). The truck has 'Progress Avenue Exxon' on the front doors, and is approximately 30' long. If anyone has seen this truck or has any information in regards to this theft or its whereabouts, please call Det. Cairns of the Susquehanna Twp.

On 3-6-16 there was a reported theft at the Morris laundromat in the 3700 block of N. 6th Street located in Susquehanna Township. The black female in the photo is seen taking a couple of loads of laundry out of dryers and leaving with them. She is seen operating a white SUV, possible a Ford Edge. We are asking for assistance in identifying the female, and anyone with information is asked to call Det. Cairns at 717-909-9242.

Dale Saunders was investigated and subsequently arrested, by turning himself in, by the Susquehanna Township Police after a report of suspected child abuse was received. The juvenile child stated Saunders innapropriately touched them in the past.

Faraaz Khan was investigated and ultimately arrested, by turning himself in, after the Susquehanna Township Police received a report of suspected child abuse whereby Khan was accused of abusing a juvenile female in the past.

On 1-1-16 there was a strong armed robbery at the Giant at 2300 Linglestwon Road, in which a female shopper was punched in the face by a black male, who then fled with her purse and its contents. One of the victims credit cards was used later that date in Lewistown, PA.  Video surveillance was obtained and a Eugene Wheeler of Lewistown, PA was identified as a suspect. Wheeler was interviewed on 1-5-16 and he confessed to the incident.  As a result Wheeler was charged with Robbery and Access Device Fraud.

Nina Smeltz

On November 24, 2015 the Susquehanna Township Police filed a Corruption of Minors charge against Nina Smeltz, for two innapropriate acts, that occurred with a minor family member. The acts were on two separate occasions and over the span of two years. 

On October 20, 2015, the Susquehanna Township Police arrested Earl F. Jones for the rape and unlawful restraint of a female companion stemming from an incident on June 5, 2015 in the 300 block of Autumn Chase Drive.  Jones did turn himself in.  He was arraigned, in front of MDJ James Lenker, and given $20,000 unsecured bail, in addition, no contact with the victim.

Maurice Cumberbatch is wanted for endangering the welfare of children and simple assault in connection with a previous domestic arugument whereby Cumberbatch's daughter suffered injuries during an altercation in December 2014, within the 100 block of Shell Street....

On 4-28-15 at approximately 12:00 pm there was a retil theft at the Sneaker Villa on Union Deposit Road in Susquehanna Township.

The Susquehanna Township Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred outside of the Fulton Bank in the 3800 block of Union Deposit Road on 12-21-15 at approximately 0945hrs. Two males approached people in a car and displayed a handgun, and took money from them.
