~~Between the dates of December 14, 2014 to December 23, 2014, the Susquehanna Township Investigated 7 residential burglaries that all shared similarities and all occurred in the same neighborhoods. All of the burglaries occurred while residents were not home and several pieces of electronics, jewelry, clothing and a firearm were taken, some of which has since been recovered. Three individuals became suspects and they were identified as Jovar Hairston, Jerod McIntyre and Jonathan Oakley. Hairston was arretsed by Upper Allen Township Police and is in Cumberland County Prison.

The Susquehanna Township Police arrested Monica Wenrich for receiving stolen property.  Wenrich was in possession of a portion of stolen cash that was obtained during a robbery committed by Edward Lee Mitchell Jr. (previously arrested)  Wenrich was arrested in the 2100 block of Herr Street.

On February 17, 2015 the Susquehanna Township Police arrested Gwen Elayne Arnett after an investigation concluded that she conspired with Edward Lee Mitchell Jr. to rob the Metro Bank, 3951 Union Deposit Road on February 14, 2015.  Arnett drove Mitchell Jr. to and from the bank.  Subsequent to Arnett's arrests, she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.  

On February 14, 2015 at approximately 1245 PM, the Susquehanna Township Police were summoned to the Metro Bank, 3951 Union Deposit Road, for an active robbery.  The suspect handed the teller a note, that he had just written, demanding all the money and that he had a gun.  The money was handed over, no weapon was branished, and the suspect fled.  Within a short time the suspect was positively identified as Edward Lee Mitchell Jr.  A warrant was issued for Mitchell Jr. on the same day.  On February 17, 2015 Mitchell Jr. was arrested in the 2100 block Herr Street.

The Susquehanna Township Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred outside of the Fulton Bank in the 3800 block of Union Deposit Road on 12-21-15 at approximately 0945hrs. Two males approached people in a car and displayed a handgun, and took money from them.

The Susquehanna Township Police are investigating a burglary that occured on 1/08/2015 at 1930hrs in the 500 block of North Progress Ave.   Below are several images of the suspect.  Anyone with information can contact Detective Aaron Osman, aosman@susquehannatwp.com, or 717-909-9232.

The Susquehanna Township Police Department (STPD) is investigating multiple occurrences of tagging within the township.  The tags are consistent and read “SUK” and “NAZ”.  The latest tag appears to have a “PV” as well as “SUK” and “NAZ” again.  These tags have occurred at different locations and during different time frames.

The Susquehanna Township Police Department is attempting to identify a male that is stealing razors and razor blades, from Weis Markets, on Union Deposit Rd.  The suspect will enter the store with a shopping cart and select a cleaning bucket from the housewares aisle then proceed to the razors and place multiple packs into the bucket until he can reach a place to conceal them in his coat and depart the store.  The suspect has stolen from Weis on several occasions, most recently on 1/5/15 at approximately 2:30 PM.

The Susquehanna Township Police are investigating a retail theft that occurred at the Sneaker Villa, in Union Square Shopping Plaza on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at approximately 2:30 PM.  The pictured male and female stole sneakers from the store and then left in what appeared to be a red Ford Explorer.  Should anyone be able to identify either suspect, please contact Det. On December 3, 2014 at approximately 9:30 PM the two unknown individuals pictured, utilized a stolen credit card number by loading the number onto a blank credit card and purchased numerous prepaid Visa cards along with several smaller miscellaneous items at the Weis in Union Square Plaza.  The victim still had the actual credit card in his possession at the time of fraud.  Susquehanna Township Police are seeking the identity of the males.  If you can help, please contact Det.

On Monday, November 10, 2014 at approximately 7:00 pm the male pictured made a purchase at Sneaker Villa, in the Union Square Shopping Center, and stole a cell phone that the customer before him left at the counter.  The cell phone is a Samsung Galaxy S5 in a Defender Series Otter Box.

On September 21, 2014 at approximately 3:30 pm, the pictured male entered the AT&T store, at the Shoppes at Susquehanna, and stole a brand new, dark grey, LG G3 cell phone.  As the picture reflects, the male appears to be a tall, light skinned male with a goatee and wearing a black baseball hat, red t-shirt (possibly Under Armour) with the phrase "OUR HOUSE" on the front, grey basketball style shorts with red and white on the side, white sox and grey sneakers.  Anyone who can identify this male is encouraged to contact Det.
