Retired Detective Donald Cairns began his career with Susquehanna Twp. Police in 1990. During his career, he held many assignments to include patrol, traffic safety, undercover narcotics investigations, and criminal investigations. Detective Cairns also served as a firearms instructor and polygraph examiner.  Det Cairns had a passion as a criminal investigator and will be remembered and honored for the positive impacts he made to not only the citizens of this township but all of Dauphin County.  Today, Det Cairns was recognized, and a plaque was placed on the Wall of Honor within the department.  Thank you for your service!
