The day after a magisterial district judge released Shymar McBride, age 42, on unsecured bail for rape of a child and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse against a child, the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas issued a bench warrant for Shymar L. McBride. Today, Judge John J. McNally revoked McBride's bail and ordered him committed to the Dauphin County Prison without bail. The bail revocation motion cited McBride's prior conviction for involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a child. The Court revoked the bail on the basis that no condition or combination of conditions would be sufficient to protect the public safety. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of McBride should call the Dauphin County Department of Public Safety at (717) 558-6900.
