September 1, 2015- Commonwealth v John Reid: John Reid today appeared before Magisterial District Judge Joseph S. Lindsey and waived his preliminary hearing sending all 33 charges against him to the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas. Reid is facing a total of 33 charges including multiple counts of rape, involuntary deviate sexual assault, aggravate indecent assault, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, unlawful contact with minors and corruption of minors. It is alleged that Reid molested two victims, both minors, for approximately ten years. The Harrisburg Police began an investigation in this case in March of 2015 when one of the victims came forward and reported Reid's abuse. A second victim came forward a short time later. This case was investigated by Harrisburg Police Detective Christopher Krokos. Reid's case will now be scheduled for an arraignment before Dauphin County President Judge Richard A. Lewis on October 14, 2015. Bail is currently set at $200,000.
