Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico urged anyone wanted on a domestic violence warrant to turn themselves in tomorrow at the Dauphin County Judicial Center, 451 Mall Road, Harrisburg, and the DA's Office will recommend the offender be released until their next court date. Assuming the offender has no other warrants, they will be released and rescheduled for court. Letters were sent to defendants with outstanding warrants urging them to report on Wednesday. The surrender date was scheduled at this time in furtherance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. Marsico warned that law enforcement will be making a warrant sweep later this month to arrest those that fail to show up tomorrow.
