February 3, 2014- Commonwealth v. Tynell Douglas: Dauphin County Judge Deborah E. Curcillo sentenced Tynell Douglas, age 29 of Harrisburg, to six to sixteen years in state prison, followed by a term of 4 years’ probation. That sentence was the result of a negotiated agreement between Dauphin County Deputy District Attorney Katie Adam and the defendant. That sentence was imposed for guilty pleas on three dockets. Mr. Douglas, a prior felon not to possess, was found in possession of a firearm during a traffic stop where he attempted to flee the police. He then was arrested for domestic assault and charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threats. The third case occurred when a warrant was served for Mr. Douglas’ arrest and he was found to be in possession of a firearm and a large quantity of heroin.
This case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Katie Adam.
