December 8, 2015- Commonwealth v Benjamin Rivera: A Dauphin County jury found Benjamin Rivera guilty of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance (heroin) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Rivera was dealing heroin in the area of the 1200 block of Derry Street in the City of Harrisburg back in November of 2014. Chief Deputy District Attorney Michael Sprow gave credit for the guilty verdict to the police officers involved with the investigation. "The excellent police work of several officers of the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, including Officers Darrin Bates, Anthony Fiore, Jon Fustine, Gina Pupo, Donald Bender and Tim Brooks led to Rivera’s arrest and conviction." Rivera was sentenced by Dauphin County President Judge Richard A. Lewis to a term of 27 to 72 months in a state correctional institution.
