March 19, 2015- Commonwealth v Phillip Greenhowe: Phillip Greenhowe waived his preliminary hearing today for a criminal homicide charge related to the death of his wife, Shalamar Greenhowe. Shalamar had been reported missing by her family and the Harrisburg City Police, in conjunction with the Swatara Township Police Department, went to the residence that Shalamar shared with the defendant and discovered her body in the bedroom. Phillip Greenhowe was later arrested in Georgia after stabbing a man at a homeless shelter and was subsequently extradited back to Dauphin County. Greenhowe was also in court on March 18, 2015 for a preliminary hearing related to charges stemming from an incident with his son in which the Commonwealth alleges that Greenhowe burned his son in the face resulting in a charge of Simple Assault and Endangering the Welfare of Children.
