On Monday, December 15, 2014, Darryl Brown waived charges of Burglary, Conspiracy, and Illegal Transfer of Firearms to county court. Brown is charged with burglarizing a Greenwood Street home in Harrisburg and stealing over fifty firearms, including pistols, rifles and shotguns. The firearms were stolen from a secured gun safe. Brown accessed the firearms after using an electric wheel grinder to cut a hole in the side of the safe. Interestingly enough, this is the second time Brown has been charged with burglarizing and stealing firearms from this Greenwood Street home. Brown is currently incarcerated in Dauphin County Prison and is scheduled for formal arraignment on February 24, 2015, in front of the Honorable John F. Cherry.
