What’s a puffer?

It’s a car that’s left running, unlocked, and unattended. Puffers are easy targets for thieves! 

“I was only away from my car for a minute!” We hear this often. Whether you’re just running in to grab a cup of coffee or warming up the car before leaving for work, it only takes seconds to steal an unattended vehicle. 

Please don’t leave your car to warm up alone unless you have a remote-start function that keeps the vehicle locked and safe. Lock your car, take your keys, and hide your stuff. Follow these simple tips to protect your property and spare yourself the hassle and expense of having your car stolen. It’s common sense but not common practice.
