After a preliminary hearing in front of Magisterial District Judge Lowell Witmer, three men, Arvard Brown, Kyle Mayer, and Todd Kline, are all headed to trial for a December 11, 2012 home invasion robbery. It is alleged that on December 11, 2012, the trio, along with a fourth co-conspirator who was previously charged, arrived at the home in East Hanover Township wearing dark clothing and ski masks, armed with a shot gun and a tech-9 pistol. The homeowner and her 9 year-old son were held at gun point in the master bedroom, while the other individuals ransacked the home. The defendants are accused of taking various electronics from the home during the course of the burglary. Brown, Mayer and Kline are eached charged with burglary, robbery, criminal trespass, terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, theft by unlawful taking, false imprisonment, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and loitering and prowling at night time. Deputy District Attorney Martin Lock is prosecuting this case for the Commonwealth.
Note: Arvard Brown, Kyle Mayer, and Todd Kline are all presumed innocent and remain innocent, unless or until they are convicted.
