On Saturday, February 29, 2020 at approximately 2043 hours, MPD attempted to conduct a traffic stop at the intersection of East High Street and Vine Street for a traffic violation.  The driver failed to yield to visual and audible signals and continued northbound on Vine Street.  The vehicle finally came to a stop in the 800 block of Deatrich Avenue where the driver; Nathan Patrick Cooke was visually and admitted to consuming alcohol while driving.  Cooke was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Center for processing and arraignment.
