On February 25, 2020 at approximately 2132 hours, MPD received a dispatch to the 100 block of Wharton Avenue in reference to a domestic.  MPD spoke with all parties involved as it was discovered that the defendant; Jerry Detwiler had hit the victim several times in the leg with a cane causing bruising to the leg.  Detwiler was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Center for processing and arraignment.
