On Saturday, January 9, 2021 at approximately 1442 hours, MPD conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of North Union Street.  Contact was made with the driver; Darwin Gavin.  An investigation was conducted as Gavin admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle.  A consent search of the vehicle was conducting resulting in finding a small amount of marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia.  The owner of the vehicle; Chelsea Haylett arrived as she stated the marijuana and drug paraphernalia was hers.  Haylett was charged via summons.
