On Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at approximately 1654 hours, MPD conducted a traffic stop on a gold Acura sedan bearing PA JWA8070 at Sheetz; 1401 West Harrisburg Pike.  An investigation was conducted as a strong odor of marijuana was detected from within the vehicle.  A search was conducted resulting in a small amount of marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia being located.  The defendant; Monique Matthews was under the influence of Marijuana while operating a motor vehicle.  Matthews was placed in handcuffs behind her back, double locked and checked for tightness.  Matthews was transported to the Central Booking Center for processing and a blood draw.
