The Middletown Volunteer Fire Department was made aware of members of the community and surrounding communities that were receiving text messages soliciting people to purchase MVFD apparel with a link to a website. THIS IS A SCAM!. Do not go to the link and do not purchase any apparel as the MVFD has no involvement with selling these shirts/hoodies. If you have been a victim of this scam please contact the Middletown Borough Police so we can follow up on your complaint. Attached are pictures of the website and text messages that people are receiving.
