On 2/17/2023 at 1844 hrs a one vehicle accident occurred in the 200 Blk of W Main St in Middletown.  The vehicle, a 2020 Kia operated by 54 yr old Anna Kreiner of Middletown, struck a utility pole guy wire and flipped on its side.  The only passenger, a 56 yr old male from Middletown, sustained injuries and was transported from the scene for medical care.  He was alert at the scene but later died at a local medical facility

The accident investigation is ongoing.
