On Sunday 12/18/2022 at 2035 hrs Middletown Borough Police were dispatched to Vagabond Rd for a report of a gunshot victim.  Upon arrival police located a 19 year old male from Middletown next to his vehicle with a gunshot wound to the leg. 

The male initially told police that he did not know who shot him or at what location he was shot.  Police provided the male with emergency medical care until the arrival of EMS.  The injury was not life threatening and the male was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care.  The male was interviewed by police later the same date.  He indicated that he was walking down the road at an unspecified location in Middletown and a person not known to him shot him in the leg.  When police presented evidence to the male that contradicted this statement, he then stated that he entered his parked vehicle and an unknown person jumped in the passenger side of the vehicle and shot him in the leg.  He could provide no description of the person.
