On Saturday 10/15/2022 at 1358 hours Middletown Borough Police were dispatched to the first block of S Union St for a suicidal male possibly armed with a gun. Police arrived and located a distraught 55 yr old male from Middletown armed with a handgun in the hallway of an apartment building.  The male was threatening suicide.  Officers verbally engaged with the male and requested assistance from neighboring police and the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team.   The male was taken into custody by Dauphin County CRT at 1656 hrs without incident.  Middletown Borough Police were assisted by Lower Swatara Police, Highspire Police, Dauphin County CRT and the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office.
