Derry Township Police Department ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Investigators, along with Detectives from Dauphin County Criminal Investigation Division (CID), executed a search warrant on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in the 1100 block of Oberlin Road, Middletown, PA (Lower Swatara Township) in relation to information received in an ongoing Child Sexual Abuse Material investigation. During the warrant service, Philip Fry, 56, who resides at the Oberlin Road address, was arrested and charged with multiple crimes related to the possession and dissemination of Child Sexual Abuse Material. The charges filed against Fry are 1 count, Sexual Abuse of Children-Dissemination of photographs, videotapes, computer depictions and films (F3); 1 count, Child Pornography (F3); and 1 count, Criminal Use of Communication Facility (F3).
Fry is a school bus driver for First Student Bus Services. Fry was assigned to transport children who reside in the Steelton/Highspire School District to different private schools in the Harrisburg area. First Student Bus Services has been cooperating fully with investigators during the investigation after the arrest of Fry this morning.
