Crews have encountered a 2nd sinkhole.  The roadway will remain closed until at least the afternoon of 4 NOV (Wednesday).  Continue to monitor DTPD social media sites for future updates. ###

Utility crews performing construction on Sandhill Road south of Cherry Drive, Hershey have encountered a large sink hole. Sandhill Rd between Cherry Dr and Forest Ave will be closed to all north and southbound vehicular traffic effective immediately.

Anticipated re-opening of the roadway is scheduled to occur during the afternoon of Tuesday, November 3rd. Updates will be provided as they become available to Township authorities. ###
