Derry Township Police Department officers responded to a reported burglary at the Fresh Market at Hershey early this morning. It is suspected that between 3:00 am and 5:00 am, two individuals smashed a rear window to gain entry into the building. They utilized tools to open ATMs on both the first and second floors, removing and emptying the cash boxes outside near the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks. An unspecified amount of cash was stolen. The suspects wore certain clothing to attempt to conceal their identities. DTPD detectives are currently processing the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
