The Swatara Township Police Department is partnering with PSECU and various other law enforcement agencies for a Senior Fraud Forum. The Senior Fraud Forum will be held on Thursday March 28th, from 9:00am until 11:30am at the PSECU building located at 1500 Elmerton Avenue Harrisburg, PA. Law Enforcement Specialists from around Dauphin County will provide a panel discussion and will be answering YOUR questions on fraud against senior citizens. The past several years have seen tremendous increases in fraud and scam cases against our senior citizens. The Senior Fraud Forum was designed to combat these threats and provide important information to our seniors so that they can avoid becoming a victim.
Swatara Township Police Department's own Detective Chris Seiler will be joined by other law enforcement representatives to include Susquehanna Township Police Department, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, the United States Postal Inspector's office, PSECU's Financial Crimes Division and the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office. This event will feature Valerie Pritchett from ABC 27 News as the moderator. Panelists will be answering YOUR questions along with general overviews of the types of frauds and scams that are being targeted at senior citizens.
Seating is limited for in-person attendance. You may also watch virtually. There will be door prizes awarded (must be in-person to be eligible). In person attendees MUST bring their ID with them.
