On September 15^th 2021 at 0821 hours, a Swatara Township Police Officer was dispatched to the Capitol Diner located at 800 Eisenhower Boulevard. The caller was an elderly gentleman who was having difficulty with his credit card when paying his bill. Officer Glass spoke with the gentleman and determined that he had done nothing wrong, his credit card was simply not functioning the way it should. Ofc. Glass took it upon himself to pay the gentleman’s bill out of his own pocket. One of the Core Values of the Swatara Township Police Department is “Caring,” which was demonstrated by Ofc. Glass’ actions this morning. Thank you Ofc. Glass!
