On November 27, 2019 the Swatara Township Police hosted a joint Dauphin County DUI Taskforce and Pennsylvania State Police DUI checkpoint along Paxton Street. 

This detail resulted in 17 people being arrested for DUI related offenses and 6 others being arrested for non DUI criminal offenses.  16 summary traffic citations were also issued.
