Food Delivery!!

Swatara Township Fire-Rescue & the Swatara Township Police Department worked with Volunteers to deliver food to area residents today. The 24 hour mini-pantry located at the Rutherford Fire Station, 6600 Derry Street, is filled and available 24 hours every day. Swatara Township wants to thank all the volunteers and donors to the Swatara Fire-Rescue Food Relief Program.

Thousands of meals and care packages have been provided since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The generosity of Swatara Township residents and businesses, combined with the work of Volunteers and our First Responders, has resulted in all of the Food Relief and Community Events being self-supporting. No taxpayer funds were used for any of these wonderful Community Outreach Programs. #swatarastrong
