National Night Out: NOW Accepting Vendor Registrations!

The Swatara Township Police Department is pleased to announce that National Night Out for 2023 will be held on Tuesday, August 1st from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at Vanatta Park (behind 7-11 on Derry Street) in Swatara Township.  This event is a wonderful way to get involved in your community and enjoy some FREE food, games and activities for kids.  National Night Out against crime is a national initiative that originated in Pennsylvania 40 years ago!  The event is hosted by our very own Swatara Township Police Department, but features emergency personnel from various other entities as well as members of businesses, non-profit organizations, churches and others who all take part in this event to take a stand against crime in our neighborhoods.  There is NO cost to attend and this event is SHINE only.  If you are part of a business, non-profit organization, church or any other group/entity within the Greater Harrisburg Area and would like to set up a vendor table at our National Night Out event, simply print the attached Vendor Registration Form and forward it to our department accordingly by July 21, 2023.  There is no cost to be a vendor at NNO and your business or organization DOES NOT need to be located in Swatara Township or Paxtang Borough.  For more information about vendor registration OR National Night Out please contact Officer Ben Stewart via email at bstewart@swatarapolice.org OR Cpl.
