The Dauphin County Crisis Response Team (CRT) was formed in 1992 in order to assist Dauphin County municipalities with handling high risk and dangerous incidents. Since its inception, the Swatara Township Police Department has had Officers assigned to this Team.
Prior to this assignment Officers have to go through a meticulous selection process. Upon being accepted onto the Team, Officers then go through a physically demanding training program to learn the skills that will be needed during these dangerous incidents.
The Swatara Township Police is pleased to announce that Officers Pat Walsh and Rich LeCadre have met all requirements and graduated from their rigorous training program.
Congratulations on this accomplishment. Please stay safe as you strive to keep our citizens safe.
