Beginning on Monday October 2nd 2015, Pine Street will be closed to traffic from Orchard Drive to North Harrisburg Street (in Steelton Borough). This closing relates to a roadway improvement project being conducted by PennDOT, and should conclude by November 20th 2015. Detour signs will be in place to direct drivers around the construction. The suggested detour route utilizes Orchard Drive to Reynders Street, Reynders Street to Swatara Street, and Swatara Street to Front Street. 

Drivers are encouraged to plan for extra commute time. Please be patient and careful while driving on routes surrounding the affected area.
