Our annual Hoops with Heroes event last night was cut a little short due to the rain, but that did not stop us from enjoying a little friendly competition on the court first.  Officers Jones, Smith and Kennedy all came out to play a little basketball with our youth.  A big thank you goes out to those who attended this event!  We enjoyed meeting all of the kids who participated.  Grill master, Director Reider, was busy providing hot dogs and hamburgers to those in attendance.  We also gave out some gift cards to some of the kids who won the skilled games.  Stay tuned to our department's website for more community events in the near future.  Next up........our largest community service event of the year.......National Night Out on August 3rd.  We hope to see you there!
